All starts with communication... communication is essential for life, a universal fundamental as important as life-sustaining breath. Communication unveils the beauty in people and allows one to question, to wonder, to be curious, to persuade because communication carries energy where spoken words create intimate possibilities and one glance of your eyes can change the outcome... how is the connection between your students and staff today?
My speaking events are down-to-earth messages of communication with a lot of humor, convincing and terrifically persuasive while focusing on authenticity, acceptance, and ALL ABOUT YOU BOO! The transition years built on preparation and potential from young adulthood to real life are treacherous even under the best conflicting conditions. Social forces are reshaping education and the future workplace platforms for our children. Now, IT IS TIME TO DO THE WORK BOO! Through positive thinking, a unique multi-media outreach learning approach was formulated into three "I" parts using a combination of sociology, communication, education, counseling and human development disciplines to systematically help students refine their unique creativity into talents and guide students in their critical thinking towards re-connecting and living at their best "WE", now and beyond the high school walls.
SPIRIT UP! IT IS TIME TO DO THE WORK! Helping the "I" become "WE" on Your Journey Forward - 2017/2030 - Tour of Duty these precious 50 MINUTES are an inspiring template about developing your communication abilities to influence and living your talents to impact while learning how to find what you want and develop an authentic voice to ask for it through 10 memorable lessons that will leave your student body and faculty asking for more! Invest in this visual and audio treat developed for 5th thru 12th grade students while filled with many ah-ha teachable moments for the educators. Tried and tested in university classrooms, this message of acceptance, responsibility, kindness, and relational experiences will touch the common sense of the individuals, develop their critical thinking skills, cause positive action, and connect your staff and students!

FYP SUMMER CAMPS
Welcome Kids!
We are glad you are here! If you are between the ages of 10 and 15, you are eligible to attend our FYP in the WORLD™ Summer Camps opening in June 2026!
FYP offers SEVEN days and SIX nights of good food, good housing, and good FUN! Camp sessions will begin in early June and run until mid-August each summer loaded with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities so everyone enjoys their stay and leaves happy! The new facilities can house 64 campers each week and the Camper to Staff ratio is 8:1 and FYP Camp's adult supervision is 24/7. The campers will share four to a spacious room with a private bathroom and walk-in closet. Laundry facilities are available for the campers. From the Opening Ceremony to the Closing Celebration, engaging activities and field trips are planned through out the entire seven day stay... campers will be smiling!

If you are 18 years or older and just leaving or have been out of the foster care system for awhile but need a place to stay while figuring out your next step on this life journey, then check out our FYP Transitional Housing program... we can help!
Each resident will share a spacious room with one other youth along with a private bathroom and walk-in closet. There are laundry facilities available. With only a few regulations to follow in order to keep everyone safe, residents are welcome to stay from September 1st until May 31st each year. The FYP in the WORLD™ organization began as a high school assembly program, helping youth just like yourselves find their way in this challenging world. For a solid NINE MONTHS we will help you critically think through your life and find the necessary resources to reach your attainable goals and dreams. We are here and we are willing to help....

FYP CORPORATE RETREATS
Welcome! The FYP facility offers 10,350 sq/ft of private lodging which includes eight spacious bedrooms available for single up to a four-person occupancy with private bathrooms and walk-in closets plus quiet areas and two spacious private media spots! Also available is an enchanting Atrium to enhance both your mental and physical health when utilizing the exercise equipment and when engaging in various relaxation activities including morning yoga and evening meditation sessions plus massage therapy for a holistic approach to living outloud in today's corporate world!
A seperate Corporate Technology Room is available for privacy to maintain more focused critical thinking sessions when tackling those current work projects, too!
To keep that cognitive energy pumping, we encourage our guests to shoot a few hoops on our indoor basketball court or swing away with a racket on our indoor tennis court, too. And to meet a more adventurous need, we motivate our guests to step outside in our beautiful gardens and embrace the natural surroundings from on foot, bicycle, recreational vehicle, or even when horseback-riding! Also, your "fur" family are welcome, too!
The power of good food is obvious for living a balanced life. Staff takes great care to create weekly menus, preparing the freshest dishes and offering the most nutritious meals in season with the flexibility to make daily modifications and meet any individual food needs. Also, an on-site Laundry service is available to make your stay more comfortable plus a Transportation Shuttle service to break away and enjoy the activities in nearby cities, too!
To fulfill the FYP mission, this is a social-conscious retreat, so plan to spend the evening meal visiting and mentoring with the foster youth who are staying in another adjacent 10,350 sq/ft space as well! Afterall, we learn from each other in this universally-shared journey called life, and one does receive back what they give forward....

WELCOME to FYP in the WORLD™! Thank you for visiting our site and my legacy-work today.
After attending a gang training session and learning about the colorful communication mentality among our youth, I found myself more than a little concerned about how our youth are communicating with one another and engaging within our fast-paced Internet-connective, multicultural world, plus developing any possible future leaders and independent thinkers who constantly look for opportunities and create situations to realize their own dreams and helping others to connect to reach their dreams, too! People have the capacity to do great things that they can’t even imagine, even from absolute poverty...but what to do? From this eye-opening presentation about the networks within our youth culture, evolved the FYP (Finding Your Place) in the WORLD™ organization.
In our schools and alternative learning facilities, youth have struggles that make both educators and parents cringe…Crips vs Bloods; White vs diversity; Folk vs People; Juvie vs conformity; Surenos vs Nortenos; assessment scores vs real learning; Mayan Calendar vs realistic time; technology vs traditional; childhood vs first paychecks; acquiring money vs brain cell growth; knowledge vs material things; cutting vs counseling; and academics vs dropping out to become the next big reality TV Star! The human conditioning war is raging!
SPIRIT UP! Helping the "I" become "WE" on Your Journey Forward -2017/30 - Never underestimate the impact of a quality presentation to touch the interior of an individual. Where there once may have existed conflict now bridges appear, bringing an inner peace and cultivating a shared knowledge, resulting in affirmative, life-changing actions for the greater good. Words are powerful when accompanied by a nurturing message to cause positive acts of choice. Besides the empowering presentations designed for high school students tried and tested in university classrooms, the FYP Staff wanted to do more to reach younger kids and so evolved the FYP Summer Camps for ages 10-15. Still not done, the FYP Staff developed the FYP Transitional Housing program for foster care youth who are aged out of the social service system, offering a safe place to engage, experience enlightenment and empowerment. A final opportunity is the FYP Study Abroad Mission Trips allowing college-aged youth to exercise their whole Self while engaging with other youth on various international platforms! All four of these youth ventures share the three unique communication components and 10 memorable lessons from the inspiring FYP programs.
Remember... a hundred years from now it will not matter what your bank account was, the sort of house you lived in, or the kind of car you drove, but the world may be different because you were important in the life of a child.
